Are You Using RoboForm?

Why not? Maybe you have not heard of it. Well, it's a program that can store the titles, URLs, descriptions and anything else you need for listing your websites into directories. It can also store the information for your articles including the titles, article bodies, signatures, keywords and whatever else you like.

It does more than just store all of this information. Having already entered all your websites' directory listing information or information for your articles, just go to the directory's web page with the submission form and with the press of one button, it can fill and submit the form for you. No more copying and pasting all your directory listings and articles. With the amount of time it takes you to copy and paste just one directory listing or article, you can submit all your directory listings or articles using RoboForm.

Since using RoboForm, I have upgraded to RoboForm Pro. RoboForm Pro allows you to enter an unlimited amount of websites and articles. RoboForm Pro also offers an unlimited amount of custom fields for each website and article. Using RoboForm Pro, I can submit 10 different articles to around 200 article directories in just one day. Without the program, it could take me a week or longer.

Search Engine Optimisation Services Specialist Discusses What Is Search Engine Optimisation Part 27

The best way to create a powerful RSS feed is to sing up or join a professional and reputable free blogging service. Then use the RSS feed that the company automatically creates for your content and your blog and then place that RSS feed on your website. Remember to keep posting to your blog in order to have unique content always being shown through the related RSS feed on your website.

Why does search engine optimisation work. There is only one thing or reason as to why SEO works. Great keyword specific original content headed by the same keyword specific titles. If you are going to market goods and services on the internet (note the word 'market' not advertise), it does not matter what these products services or goods are, you need to give people solutions to their business problems by showing them that by using your business services and products it will produce those benefits and solutions for them.

The point here is that you have got to write if you want to market your business on the internet. If you do not know how to write you need to learn. So how do you learn how to write? It is very simple. Talk into a microphone, record it, then as you listen to your recording you write your words down. Write like you speak. The more that you write the easier it becomes and then you can write even more and your style of writing improves.

Do not put on airs and graces. Do not write that you are an expert when you are not. When you do become an expert in your chosen field then you can write and inform people about it. Keep your writing simple, honest, sincere and direct and people will trust you and therefore do business with you. Once you start appearing on the internet because of your writing and you start achieving first page ranking on the search engines and achieve notoriety, then you have accomplished 'bragging' rights. Write and tell people about your notoriety achievements.

Profitable Article Marketing - Latest 3 Intermediate Steps to Make Money with Article Marketing

Article marketing cannot be more popular these days. Marketers from across the globe agree that this is the most reliable method in generating traffic to their websites, pulling up their search engine rankings, establishing their expertise online, and building trusting relationship with their potential clients.

1. Create an interesting author's bio on leading article submission sites. If you want to build rapport with your potential clients, you need to offer them more than information about your target niche and your products. You also need to impart with them some personal information so they will be able to connect to you on a personal level. Make your author's box compelling by indicating your hobbies, the reason why you write articles, your desire to help, etc. You can also post your most friendly-looking picture so your readers will be able to incorporate the information with a face.

2. Plan ahead. When you sink your teeth into article marketing, you need to understand that this marketing method requires more than writing and submitting your articles. Create a workable plan where you can effectively schedule all the tasks associated with your marketing efforts. Have specific days for writing articles, submitting them online, checking on your progress, and learning advanced tips to help you excel in this field.

3. Write more. Just like any other marketers, I am sure that you are eager to increase the traffic on your website and would be happy to see that happen soon, right? You can easily realize your goals by multiplying the number of your articles. As you know, the number of your inbound links and your online exposure largely depends on your output.

Internet Marketing - Swipe! Create the Ultimate Swipe File

In internet marketing, article marketing, great sales pages and great marketing emails it turns out the best written are not truly created, they are swiped.

You have probably heard the term, but what does it mean? Is it okay to just copy someone else's work and call it your own? No! That would be stealing. What you can do is copy the style of a given marketing piece.

Here is what I mean. Let's say there is a great headline like "Allergy Sufferers! Don't suffer one minute more!" Okay, I just made that up as an example. Assume that this headline has been wildly successful. You "swipe" it and change it to accommodate your target market. "Arthritis Sufferers! Don't suffer one second more!"

That is what is called a "swipe." It's not the exact same wording. It is different. However, it does copy the style of the headline.

Now that you understand what a swipe is, lets move on to creating the ultimate swipe file.

The easy thing to do is to go to the office supply store and purchase a large 3 ring binder and at least one set of 8 tabs. Mark your tabs for emails, email subject lines, headlines, sales letters, power words, squeeze pages, upsell (pages that attempt to get you to buy another product) thank you pages, and misc.

Now begin to study marketing. You now get to quit throwing out all that spam you get. It's now market research. Which emails succeed in getting you to read them? If you open a spam email, that email now goes in your "email subject lines" section of your binder.

If you actually read the email you just opened, you print it and put it into your "emails" section of your swipe file.

Carrying this analogy forward, if you purchase something and the sales letter convinced you to buy, it goes in the "sales letters" section. If you give up your name and email address and join someone's list, print the page and put it into your "squeeze page" section.

Last, if you hear about a marketing campaign that pulls in large amounts of money, print out all the associated marketing materials and place them in your swipe binder.

Over time you will develop a resource that will help you to write better and better copy that sells. So don't wait for inspiration. Create a resource that will inspire you each and every time you sit down to write sales and marketing copy.

Backlinks - What Are They, How You Get Them, And What They Do For You

If you have just started a blog, or created a wonderful website, you may be skimming through page after page of forums, blogs, and articles, looking for ways to make your creation better. It is good to want to make your website aesthetically pleasing or amazingly easy to navigate, these two aspects of e-business are a must for long term success. However, there is something that may be even more important than what is on your page when you first start out, and that something is backlinks.

Backlinks are links that are found on another website leading to yours; they are the clickable text that allows you to move from one website to another. Search engines consider the number of backlinks a site has to be a very good indicator of its quality and popularity. The number of backlinks, and their quality, are one of the many factors that search engine algorithms use to rank your page in the search engine results pages(SERPS). Many SEO consultants claim that backlinks account for about 80% of a page's placement in the search engines, the other 20% being related to your content and the websites format. So, you see, if you want your page to get traffic when people type one of you keywords into a search engine, you need to acquire backlinks, and usually, tons of them.

How should you start a link building journey?

Step one in any link building campaign should be a competitive analysis. Competition on the Internet is fierce in many niches, and in most larger markets, established websites have thousands of backlinks. Don't be discouraged, the rewards will be well worth the effort if you stay focused and don't quit early. Link building is a longer term process in search engine optimization, it is usually something that takes several months or even years to come to fruition.

To examine your competition you need to first determine which keywords you want to rank for in the search engines. Say, for example, that you have a site about high heels. Well, you would want to rank well for the search term high heels. Ideally, you eventually want to rank in the top 3 of the first page of the search engine result pages. However, to get your foot in the door, pun intended, you may want to also attempt to rank for some less popular keywords , such as red stiletto heels. This is because ranking high in the search engines for your main keyword may take several months, depending on the level of competition. So, if you search red stiletto heels, a website will come up that holds the number one spot for this keyword. This is where the analysis begins. Take whatever website that comes up in your search for the number one spot, and put the site name in the following directive (an instruction to a search engine) at Yahoo!. Type link domain: www.examplesitehere.com - site: www.examplesitehere.com. What this is asking the search engine is the following, give me the links to this domain, that is the (linkdomain:www.examplesitehere.com) part, and then exclude the links that are coming from the site itself, that is the (site:www.examplesitehere.com) part.

What you are going to get is a list (it might be rather large if you are in a major market) that is going to give you websites that have links to this industry leading site. This is very useful information, because it shows what sites are holding the links, and you are going to want to insert your site link on most of these sites to raise your site to page 1 of the search engine rankings.

Now that you have the list, you want to select which sites will give you the most backlink weight. Generally speaking, you want to find a site to link to that is highly related to your website. Once you do that you want to see how this site is viewed by the major search engines. Simply put, you want to check its authority status, and to do that, you need to check its PR(Page Rank). This is what Google uses to convey how they feel about a particular page.

So you can check a sites page rank to see if you would want a link from them. This is a broad way to check the link value a certain site has. It is very important that you make sure the content on the page where the link comes from is related to your site. You don't want to necessarily get links from mini skirt sites if you have the high heel site as mentioned above. You want to get links from sites that rank high for your keyword. If the site is a direct competitor, then it may be very difficult to get a link from them if they don't have a directory. Consequently, you need to concentrate on getting some links from further down the SERPS to get yourself started. When you are navigating other websites, looking for a place to put your link, ideally, you want a one way link. A one way link means that you get a link from the site to your page, but you do not give that site a link on your page. When you are first starting out, you want to attempt to only acquire one way links until you learn a bit more. The reason being that putting other people's links on your page, or reciprocal links as they are called, can drain your page's search engine ranking. To research why this happens I suggest reading about no follow links, page rank, and "link juice".

Other methods for acquiring backlinks are submitting your site to directories and posting to forums. Let's first examine directory submission. A directory is just a website on the Internet that has categories of links leading to particular websites. Some directories are easier to get into than others and there is healthy debate regarding the link weight that a particular directory can give you. When you are just starting out, especially in less competitive niches, backlinks are very important to climb the search engine, so you want to submit to any relevant directories you can find. To be very particular about your directory submissions would perhaps be a better strategy, but time is money, and the faster your site can climb the rankings, the better. So, generally, as long as the directory is just not a massive unrelated mess, you want to submit your site to it. Using our high heel site as an example again, start with the smallest niche your site fits into first, and then move out to larger categories. For example, if the high heel site talks about stilettos, then attempt to find a directory related to just stilettos. More than likely, you may just find a directory related to shoes or women's shoes, and you want to submit to those, but if you can find more specific directories, they will be more powerful for you.

Submitting to directories takes time, especially if you are in a huge general market like fashion. From the time you request a directory inclusion(you sometimes actually write to a contact e-mail or fill in fields on a submission page) to the time a link will appear that leads to your site, could be several weeks or months, depending on your market. Smaller niches are great for fast Serps rises, because as a general rule they will have smaller directories, which results in faster submission review, and ultimately link inclusion. If you go too small, then finding directories will be difficult, and you may just end up submitting to large directories that will take forever to include you, and this may not help your Serps ranking much in the long run. For micro niches there are better methods for acquiring backlinks, and one of these methods is forum posting with links in your signature(links to your site in your forum posts, below the actual text you type).

Signature posting in forums is said by some not be an effective form of backlink acquisition, because the forum may prevent the guests of the forum(who are not registered members), and search engine bots(mathematically driven drones that look for backlinks), from seeing the links, thus negating their weight. This is true to some extent, however, in forums where not many people have links in their signature area, backlinks can hold more weight, because bots are only seeing a few links with all this related content(forum banter) surrounding your link.

In summation, forum signature links can give you some link juice(seo jargon for something that helps you rise in serps), and they are very effective in other ways. When you place links to your site in your signature, people can simply click on them to be directed to your website and become a member of your site if it is membership driven. Additionally, visitors can also arrive on your page and hopefully click on an ad or affiliate link. You build a reputation through your posts, and cultivate a readership and/or membership to your site. It is one of the best ways to grow a new niche site, and all it costs is your time.

There are some other ways, besides using yahoo linkdomain and yahoo site explorer, that can help you find places to submit your site's link. Below are some link commands that you can use in Google. These commands work well to locate pages on websites that let you submit a link to your site. The keywords are just examples, and you would replace them with your keywords.

Intitle:add+your+site+url "keyword"

Intitle:directory "keyword"

Intitle: add+url "keyword"

Intitle:submit+url "keyword"

purses "submit url"

fashion "add link"

fashion "submit your blog"

fashion "submit your site"

There are also some commands to find blogs and forums that would be relevant posting areas. Some of these commands:

"add comment" keyword or "leave a comment" keyword, generally used to find some blogs as blog platforms use add comment or leave comment

"new topic" keyword or "new thread" keyword , "post reply" keyword, this is great for finding forums to talk with people who share similar interests as most forum software uses new topic or one of the other phrases just shown.

Another good idea to get in on conversation immediately is to do searches in Google, such as, posted December 12, 2007 Gucci. This is used by blogs or forums to indicate a message was left on this day. So if you have a relevant site, then writing some relevant comments and submitting your site link will bring you traffic and relevant backlinks.

Successful backlink acquisition is essential to building a site that will rank on the first page of the search engines. If you are serious about making money on the Internet, you must learn as much as you can about backlinks, and the aforementioned information should give you a good start.

Discover How To Create Wealth Writing Articles

Making money is different than creating wealth. You can make money rather quickly and spend it just as fast. But wealth is accumulated over a longer time frame and is used for retirement purposes or passed on to future generations. For that reason, writing articles are the perfect tool to build and create wealth.

If you write an article today and submit it to 50 large directories, it is almost certain that it will still be in circulation (and working for you) three or four years from now. Your AdWord campaigns, along with other advertising that you use will stop working the second you stop sending them checks. And that is another benefit to writing articles, you can do it for free!

Given that information, you might ask, 'How does that create wealth?' It will create wealth through the power of compounding. If you write just one article today, you will generate traffic to your website or to products that you are recommending. Over a 3 month period, that article may attract 40 page views from one article directory. By submitting it to 50 directories, your article may be seen by 2000 visitors. Not bad for one article.

If you write one article every day, the numbers are staggering. Over that same 3 month period, you could generate about 180,000 page views. When you consider that these articles will continue to draw in viewers for years, the compounding effect can bring you traffic and income for many years to come and create wealth for the long term.

For that reason, do not date your articles. Write them so that they are just as relevant next year as they are today. Of course, this may not be possible in all niches. By writing in a timeless fashion, you can create wealth beyond your wildest dreams.

Keyword Research - Why It Can Make Or Break Your Business

Keyword research is the most important thing you need to do for your online business. If you fail to do your research properly you are literally leaving cash on the table. This article will explain the importance of finding the right keywords for your online business empire whether you are an affiliate marketer or selling your own products online.

Firstly, if you are using the free keyword research tools then you are wasting valuable hours. To truly succeed in finding the right keywords you will need to invest in a keyword tool which will automate the process for you.

Researching many thousands of keywords, which can make you money, will take you days to complete, the powerful keyword research tools of today can do it in seconds.

These keyword tools extrapolate their data from a number of sources and and give you search data,,RS rations, and kei you will also be shown how much competition there is in the search engines at a push of a button.

When you analyse this data, you will want to be looking at which keywords represent a searcher looking to buy your product. Forget about broad search terms as people researching a product use these terms. You want to target keywords towards the end of the research cycle, such as digging for keywords based on the product name such as " product name review" " but product name" and " where to buy product name" etc.

If you are selling a product that will help your potential customer cure or help them with something look for those types of keywords. EG lets say your selling an ebook on the "golf swing" target keywords that are being searched about how to cure a slice or a hook or how to drive further etc. These are keywords being used to help the searcher cure their problem. You just have to target the keywords with your product and give them the solution... for a price of course...

Keyword research need not be a time consuming problem when you can automate the process by investing some of your cash into a keyword research tool that can give you all the data you require in minutes.

Keyword Research is a need for any online business. Visit http://www.keyword-elite.affili8biz.com to discover how you can automate your keyword research in minutes

Inbound Link Mania - 10 Key Content Strategies to Increase Online Visibility

Now more than ever, if you want to be a successful business owner, you need a successful business website. Which means you have to make nice with the search engines. And the long-standing rule of search engine friendliness is to create inbound links -- links from other sites pointing to your site.

Ten-ish years ago, when Google started the shift away from code to content (including inbound links) as the preferred way of determining "relevance," the world changed. Immediately, businesses owners started scrambling, and begging, for every link they could get. Thank goodness that's not the case anymore! But inbound links are still important. In many ways they're more vital than ever.

How then, does one go about getting those precious nuggets of hypertext anchor tagging? Social Media maven and "Chief Nut" Kevin Skarritt, our good friend and strategic ally at Acorn Creative, offered up these 10 strategies on his "Nuts and Bolts of Brand" blog. Good guy that he is, he gave us permission to share those key linking strategies with you here. Hit it!

1. BLOG COMMENTS

Go out of your way to read other people's blogs. Your Mother always told you that reading is good for you. She was right! But, when you do so, be sure to productively interact with those bloggers. It makes them feel good. It validates what they're writing about. It starts up a relationship between the two of you. AND, here's the best part, it gives you an inbound link to your site.

2. BLOG TRACKBACKS

Start your own blog and refer to all of those blogs you're reading in the form of a "trackback" in your posts. Don't know what this means? Check out the entry for "trackback" on Wikipedia, or go deeper with a Wordpress.org tutorial. However you learn more about this linking strategy, please do, because it's a smart, easy, and effective way to get your website lots of inbound links.

3. PAY PER CLICK ADVERTISING

Yes, PPC advertising is indeed an added marketing expense. However, it's a controllable, predictable means to build ROI, and a great way to build inbound links where you have control over the text used in the link tag.

4. PARTICIPATE ON INDUSTRY FORUMS

Similar to blog comments and trackbacks, participating on industry forums will get you hooked up with other like-minded professionals, keep you abreast of current trends, and you get to build your own inbound links in the signature line of your posts.

5. BUILD OTHER PAGES

Some new social networking sites on the web allow you to create content and post it in their domain as new pages. One great example of this is Seth Godin's Squidoo.com. By creating "lenses" that focus readers on a particular topic of interest, you get to engage readers and create more inbound links to your main site.

6. WIKIS

The concept of a wiki (like wikipedia.org) is that readers also become content contributors. Anyone who is registered can log in and change content. Understand that other readers of this information-rich content have zero tolerance for salesy/advertising tactics, so, be careful with this one. Be purely informative and helpful with your newly posted content. If the content survives peer scrutiny, you'll have a nice little inbound link that's potentially seen by millions.

7. SOCIAL NETWORKING

MySpace and FaceBook for sure, but there's an explosion of social networking web sites out there. Dive in and start participating. Doing so allows you to interact with other professionals and, you guessed it, builds up inbound links.

8. SOCIAL BOOKMARKING

Different than social networking, social bookmarking is similar to how you used to bookmark sites in your browser but, instead, you bookmark your favorite sites publicly, in sites like de.licio.us, ma.gnolia.com, spurl.com, rojo.com, Google bookmarks ... the list goes on and on. The goal is to have people discover these bookmarks, and then your site. An added benefit to social bookmarking (and blog posts) is you get to "tag" your content with words and phrases that are relevant to the content. These tags are used to identify the content in the search process.

9. ORGANIZED SURFING SITES

This is a variation of social bookmarking. There are sites that organize how people surf the web in an effort to make the process of finding the right content faster and more focused. StumbleUpon.com (available as a Firefox plugin) is one of my favorites but others like Technorati (blog content), Digg (blogs, articles and news stories) and newcomer Trailfire (another Firefox plugin) allow users to power-surf, finding your site via inbound links.

10. LINK BEGGING

Don't discount it just yet. Asking another site owner for a link sometimes still works. However, with all of the other options listed above, you'll quickly learn that this tactic is largely time-consuming and unproductive.

Any good car salesman will recite the old adage, "plan your work and work your plan." This especially holds true for your inbound link strategy. Whether you focus on one or set up a tactic to diversify, divide and conquer, don't wait. The success of your website -- and ultimately, your business -- depends on it!

A Free Marketing Method To Build Your Internet Business

There are many ways to market your Internet business. One of the least expensive yet most effective methods is by writing articles. I use it as a primary marketing technique and it provides me with a number of benefits.

1) It consistently brings traffic to my site. And, unlike an advertisement that runs one time and then stops, articles continue to work for me as long as they remain available. I still get traffic from articles that I wrote six to eight months ago. In addition, many of my articles are published in ezines and on websites with related content that bring me traffic. And, as an added benefit, I get all this advertising for free. It doesn't cost me a penny!

2) Writing articles provides valuable backlinks and can significantly improve your site's Page Rank. The number of backlinks is one of the criteria that search engines use to determine the relative importance of your site. Each time I post an article, it provides a backlink to my website. Search engines see the large number of backlinks at these article directories, ezines, and other sites that have published my work. As a result, my Page Rank numbers increase. This increased Page Rank number means that my site will get a better placement when people do searches. This, in turn, means that I will receive even more traffic. And, of course, an increase in traffic means an increase in profits.

3) Writing articles can provide you with an ongoing source of income. With each article that I submit, I place relevant information in the author's resource box. My resource box contains links to products that I am recommending as well as links back to my website. Some of the people who read my articles will click on these links and purchase those products. It is like running a small advertisement in each article I post. And, as I mentioned previously, articles continue to work for a very long time.

So, if you are not already, consider using articles to market your Internet business. They can supply you with an ongoing stream of traffic. They provide you with valuable backlinks that can increase the Page Rank of your website. And they can be a nice consistent source of income.

Link Building Through Web Directories - 5 Tips On Submitting To Directories For Maximum SEO Effect

When submitting to directories there are several things you need to consider to make sure that you maximize the link popularity you receive from each directory.

First when choosing directories to submit to, look for ones that have been indexed by Google and have at least a page rank of 0. If their page rank is showing no data or a gray bar, you may want to wait before submitting to that particular directory. (You can see page rank and find out if a site has been indexed by Google very quickly by downloading Google's tool bar).

Second, be sure to choose the most relevant category to submit your site to. Browse through the directory and find sites that are very similar to yours and submit to the same category that they have submitted to. This will put your link and description with other similar links and descriptions thus making the link more relevant to your site.

Third, when choosing titles make sure you choose terms you want to rank in the search engines for. This is going to be the anchor text of the link that you will get in the directory. Anchor text plays a huge role in where your website will rank. So many times I see people submit titles that no one would ever search and for the most part I would say it is a waste. Choose titles that you know will bring valuable traffic if you ever ranked for the term.

Fourth, mix up the descriptions. It is easy to keep using the same description for every submission that you do, but easy is not always better in link building. You must always keep in mind that search engines want to see links that appear to happen in the natural evolution of the internet. In other words they don't want to see purchased links or links that have the same description attached to it over and over. Chances are that if they see either of those two things, your link will be discounted. Try to write as many unique descriptions as you can. Yes it can be tedious and boring but if you are willing to put in the hard work, chances are your competitors are not and that gives you a decisive advantage over them.

Fifth, try to make your submissions as random as possible. If you do 100 directory submissions every day, that doesn't appear natural to a search engine because they could see you getting 100 new links each day. Make it as random as possible so that you avoid any red flags being put up. (This suggestion is not as critical as the others because search engines wont find every link at the same time but its always better to be safe than end up on page 53 of Google's results).

If you are doing a lot of directory submissions a good resource is found at OneWayTextLink.com. They have a list of about 2500 free web directories you can submit to and have a free tool that allows you to keep track of all of your submissions so you don't forget which directories you have already submitted to.

Article Marketing Secrets - How to Get Your Information in Front of as Many Eyes as Possible

Would you like to get your information in front of as many eyes as possible in as many consumable forms as possible? Then article marketing is for you.

You need to think of how your article can be repurposed into a variety of consumable forms.

Your article as text

Write your article and then submit it to the article directories. First go deep on EzineArticles. Second go wide by submitting your articles to other popular article directories. Third submit your article to niche article directories. And finally submit your articles to your own article directories.

Your article as audio

Then you can repurpose your article content into audio. One way is to simply read and talk about your article, record it and create CDs. My favorite way though to repurpose my article content into audio content is with teleseminars. Conduct a teleseminar and record it and then you can turn that recording into audio CDs, podcasts, mp3, etc.

Then building out the other side you can have that recording transcribed and then repurpose the transcription into more text articles. In this way, as my colleague and friend Alex Mandossian says, you can "write with your mouth and not with your hands."

Your article as video

When you take your article content and repurpose it into video and then put that video on You Tube, you now have links coming back to your web site from the second highest ranked web site in the world. All you have to do is video yourself taking about your article, make and explain a few points, and there is your video.

And this is just a slice of how you can get your articles in front of as many eyes as possible in as many consumable forms as possible.

And now I would like to offer you free access to 2 of my Instant Article Templates when you subscribe to my free Article Marketing Minute, a 52 week audio/video newsletter on Article Marketing. You can get your instant access at http://www.ArticleMarketingMinute.com

Three Strategies For Success In Small Business Advertising

Advertising and marketing for a small business take effort and a plan to be successful. Many small business owners become discouraged too quickly because they do not receive the windfall of customers that they expected after they ran their initial advertising campaigns. You must keep at it. Advertising is a art that takes constant monitoring and refinement and a long term plan that will lead to your success. Here are three things that small business owners can do in to increase their chance of success in their advertising campaign.

1. Be Committed To Your Long Term Plan - This strategies assumes you have a long term plan. If you do not, then you need one, fast. Just like planning to open your business needed a business plan, your advertising needs a plan. This helps you to meet deadlines for publications and lay out different messages that you want to to get in front of your customers at different parts of the year. You should at a minimum have a six month advertising plan, but really it should be a year. This will help to establish longer term contracts with advertisers which helps to bring the price down of each advertisement.

2. Add Shock Value - As a small business you are competing with major corporations for your customers. You have to be different. Speak to what your customer needs and how you can provide, but you have to make a scene. Just being average and boring when competing with small and large businesses will be very frustrating as you will not get the returns from your advertising that you expect. By being different you have a great opportunity to acquire those customers who usually would not have paid you much attention.

3. Take Advantage Of Free Services - The most common free service that small businesses fail to take advantage of is press releases. If you have a new product or service or just an interesting tidbit about your industry that you think your customers should know about, write a press release. A quick Google search will give you dozens of free press release services. You can also send them to your local papers individually. There is no guarantee that they will be printed, but if they do, this is a lot of free advertising that only cost you a little bit of your time. Something to consider: How long will it take you to write a 250-300 word article about your business? Not long I bet. This should done right away.

Article Writing and Marketing - Choosing Keywords

If you do some or all of your marketing through writing articles and submitting them to free article directories, then this article is a necessity for you. There are a few different theories on how to pick your keywords. Picking keywords can be very important depending on what you want to do with your articles and how you plan to write. Read on to learn how to pick your keywords.

The first method to pick keywords for article writing and marketing is the bum method. This method can be very effective, but can make it a bit difficult to figure out how to write the actual article. The bum method includes choosing a keyword with very little Google search competition that actually gets searched for. The goal with the bum method is to get your article listed on the front page of Google for a search term that has some searches every month.

The second method does not have a name, but basically it is an article writing method that does not include keywords. Some of the gurus believe that you are better of just writing about anything that you know about that can help someone else. The only issue with this method is you are not trying to get listed anywhere, but in the article directories. With this method, though, you can submit your article all over the place and get traffic from tons of article directories.

The last method for article marketing and writing is to use forums to find questions to write about. This method is a good method because if someone asks the question in a forum, then there are probably others that have or will have the same question. You can find a lot of great ideas to write about with this method and the best part is if you don't know the answer to the question you can just read the replies to the question in the forum and find your answer that way.

So, which method should you use when writing articles for marketing purposes? The best answer to this question is to use a combination of these methods. There is traffic to be found with all three of these methods so you should use them all. You will get different traffic from each method so try them all and use them all regularly.

To Achieve Article Marketing And Writing Success You Must Follow These 6 Steps

One way of promoting your website and product can be achieved for free. As an additional bonus, this free method can boost your sites and sales, doubling and even tripling your income.

Article marketing is one of the best free advertising methods there is, the articles on the free content site contains a link to your own website. Readers, after reading your articles, may choose to click on the link and pay you an unexpected visit. Also your articles on the free content are available to other webmasters who may wish to publish that article on their site. Having you article on other websites also means you have a back link which will increase you search engine ranking. As you can see there are some great advantages to article marketing.

Here are some great article marketing tips to help make sure your articles gets published and read.

Article Marketing Step 1. Is to discover your topic and titles. As you would provide a first sentence for your article, one that would immediately grab the attention of your reader. To be concise, you would need to get all the facts that will support and go against your point. At this point you are also going to pic out some key words that best describe the content of your article and use these key words as much as possible throw out the article. This will help a great deal when it comes to search engines finding you article, if no one can find it, it will not get read. It's that simple. Key words are a very important factor in article marketing.

Article Marketing Step 2. One of the methods you can use to prepare yourself for writing articles is creating an outline first. Creating an outline for all your articles makes you prepared. You have an idea of what to do first and make a plan for your succeeding steps. Being prepared makes the job easier and faster. Being organized will allow for disorientation to be shunned away.

Article Marketing Step 3. Never underestimate the power of the resource box. After all this is the why your submitting your article, right? It may be small in size but they will provide a significant aid in driving traffic to your site. A boring resource box will never get a job done. Be fun and creative but at the same time show that you have a great deal to offer, too much to ask for something that couldnt fit a paragraph? Yes and no, there are many tips and guides that can help you in doing this, the first step is realizing how important a resource box could be in making people click your link and be directed to your site.

Article Marketing Step 4. Maybe in the process of writing articles, you are thinking that all that is you wanted is links back to your site. And any visitors it can generate are fine. Guess what? Not all article banks and directories are going to accept your content automatically. Oftentimes, they have some guidelines and specifications on the articles that they are accepting.

Article Marketing Step 5. You can double the number of sites you can submit to by writing articles that the directories want to share with other people. All it takes is one publisher with a hundred thousand readers to increase your potential audience overnight.

Write the articles that publishers want in their publications if you want your article marketing to work the most effective way for you. This also means you have to obey the standard guidelines, spell checks, researching on a good topic and even hiring a writer to produce a good content on your behalf. In the end, it is all really a matter of choice on your part. You can start getting a little exposure from increased links back but on a very basic level. Or enjoy massive exposure from a little extra time making quality contents.

Article Marketing Step 6. Reread and reread what you have written down. Always refer to your outline so that you wont drift away from what you had first written down. Its not hard to be caught in the moment and get lost in your writing frenzy. Your outline will help you keep in track. All those hours spent in outlining your article will not go to waste. This will serve as your guide in writing articles. Trust and rely on your outline because this will prove to be a very helpful tool in writing all of your articles.

If you use all these step to market your articles and provide good useful content your article marketing will be very successful.

If you don't feel like writing articles yourself, private label rights articles are always a option. If used properly they can be a great resource. Be sure not to copy private label rights articles word for word. Instead use many different articles and peace them together. This will insure your content is original.

Lucrative Article Marketing - Uncover 5 Reliable Methods to Advance with Article Marketing

If you have been using article marketing in promoting your products or website but can seem to generate the kind of interest and traffic that you were hoping for, let me help you increase the benefits you get - from increased page views, improved sales potential, and higher page ranking - by tenfold. Just follow these 5 reliable methods and you'll surely advance in this technique:

1. Anchor text vs. absolute URL. What are you using in your resource box? Based on studies and researches, the use of anchor text is more effective that using absolute URL. Aside from the fact that they look good on human eyes because they are based on keywords, they are also favored by search engines.

2. Make your articles scannable. Online users do have little time to spare when they search for information online. They appreciate articles that are scannable so they can easily skim through the information without spending so much time reading the whole article. Break your articles into short paragraphs and use bullet list to make your articles not only scannable but also easy on the eyes.

3. Maximize your resource box. Most article submission sites will allow you to use up to three hyperlinks on your author box. Take advantage of this to increase the chances of your website's URL being clicked.

4. Keep your resource box short. Remember, you are not writing another article. Keep it simple and direct to the point. Include your name, your expertise, and your "bait" - or the reason why readers should visit your website.

5. Give your articles compelling teasers. These will be shown, together with the titles of your articles, when an online user searched for your keywords. Tell your potential readers what is your article all about and how they can benefit from reading it.

Article Marketing For Profit - Some Places Where You Can Sell Your Writings

Today, there are dozens of places where you can sell your articles. Typically these resources will fit into one of three categories. Depending on your writing style, how quickly you want to make money, and how much you want to make, one venue may work better than another. Without fail, as you develop better writing skills, you will be able to command higher rates no matter what market you choose.

First, you can purchase a market directory, such as Writer's Digest. This is ideal for writers that want to follow a traditional path to paper based publication. Unfortunately, if you have not sold articles before, or are new to the business of writing, it may be very difficult to break in. On the other hand, once you do make a sale, you can expect upwards of $30.00 per article. You may also want to try ezine publications. While they may not pay as much, they will give you some much needed name recognition.

Second, you may want to try offering your services at various freelance work sites. Typically, the articles you write will be designed based on customer specifications. You will also be working as a ghost writer, meaning that your name will never appear in conjunction with the article. Typically, you will be lucky if you get paid $2.00 to $5.00 per article at the beginning.

Irregardless of which method you choose, you should be able to make a decent living. Depending on sales volume, you may even want to work with both markets, and see if you can duplicate success in both places. One thing is for certain, you will always be learning something new, and enjoying the benefit of working on your own.

Article Marketing 101 - How Business Owners Can Use It To Their Benefit

Article marketing is quickly becoming one of the absolute best ways for business owners, both large and small, to drive traffic to their website, and also increase their sales exponentially with this method of virtual advertising.

If you haven't yet taken advantage of this simple but effective means of promoting your business using the internet as an invaluable resource, read on to learn how article marketing can increase your sales and help you to quickly make a name for yourself.

What Exactly is Article Marketing?

Article marketing, metaphorically speaking, is like a virtual billboard that has the potential of reaching millions upon millions of people with just a few clicks of a mouse button. Literally, the practice involves publishing keyword-rich, informative articles on any number of article syndication sites with links back to your website. Also, it's a rather cost effective means of advertising, as the majority of sites require no fees for posting content.

Know Your Audience

The tone and general theme of your articles should be tailored to the specific audience you are trying to reach. If your company is marketing closet organizers, for example, you'll then want content to appeal to homeowners or businesses who would have a need for such an item. If you're an affiliate of a company selling products for treating acne, you will want to ensure your articles are geared toward those who are suffering from acne, or at least know someone who is.

People turn to the internet for quick answers and information they can depend on, which leads us to the next key aspect of article marketing: providing content that is reliable and always on point.

Provide Useful, Relevant Material

Although the savvy business owner will want to keep aspects such as search engine optimization (SEO) in the forefront of their mind, the articles you'll be distributing to market your company or product must also be readable and interesting as well as ranked favorably amongst search engine results.

Most article marketing sites have specific guidelines in place that must be adhered to in order to be accepted and listed on the site. Articles that are poorly written or full of errors are likely to be rejected, and even if they aren't, who would want that type of material representing their business, anyway? Ensure that your information is factual and free from plagiarism or typographical errors before attaching your name and submitting to article directories and syndication sites.

Submit Your Articles and Spread the Word

Depending on the website, some will allow you to embed hyperlinks throughout your article, linking visitors to your site, while others state that links should be included at the end of the article in what's referred to as the resource box. Here you can list pertinent information in addition to the link to your website, such as the contact person's name, email address, telephone and fax numbers, as well as how long the author has been an expert in this field, or how long your company has been in operation.

Providing some accurate background lends a sense of authenticity to the article and shows that a real person is behind the company or product that's being marketed.

Profitable Article Marketing - Uncover 4 Great Methods to Improve Your Article Marketing

Article marketing is a great off-page SEO solution that can help you build quality inbound links for your website without the need to resort to link building campaigns. You just need to write and distribute your articles online to impart your knowledge, gain the trust of your potential clients, and drive them to your website.

Here are the 4 great methods to improve your article marketing:

1. Supercharge your titles. This is the first element that online users will see online. Thus, you need to create a strong impression to compel them to open and read your articles. Make your headlines short, direct to the point, and descriptive of what your article is all about. Employ emotion, logic, exaggeration, and anything that will push your potential clients' buttons. Remember, to be successful in this marketing technique, you need to be desperate for attention.

2. Power up your author's bio. Introduce yourself to online users by giving them sneak peak on what you do, your hobbies, and your willingness to help. Avoid making your short biography a blatant advertisement and just make it personal. This is your first step in building rapport with your readers so they will learn to trust you eventually. Don't forget to include your most friendly-looking picture to make your bio more interesting and visually appealing.

3. Do keyword analysis. Know what keywords are ranking better on search engines and use them on your content. By doing so, you will make your articles highly searchable online.

4. Carefully choose your topics. If you don't know where to get great topic ideas, I highly recommend forums and article submission sites. These can give you great insights on what your potential clients might be looking for on your articles. Just stick to those topics that are relevant to your products so you can attract qualified traffic to your website.

Kindergarten Dropout Makes A Fortune In Internet Marketing

Hyperboles abound in Internet Marketing. Myth has its own area code. Hype has its own country. And BS, its own universe.

Anyone desiring to enter this perilous terrain should proceed with caution. Wearing a full body hype-resistant armor is strongly recommended. If that's not available, growing a second layer of thick skin is advisable.

For the beginning marketer, novice webmaster or the Internet hobbyist who just wants to earn a little extra income, all the hype can be a little overwhelming. All the rhetoric may prove totally mind boggling. Deadly even.

Who to believe? What to believe?

It's a virtual mine field and you only have your cursor for a guide. It can be down right scary if you're not prudent with your checkbook or your morals you can be misled, swindled, and beguiled before you even turn on your computer.

Separating fact from fiction requires a considerable skill, usually reserved for the judgments of Solomon.

Where to begin? Where to start?

This is where most would-be Internet Marketers go wrong from the 'get-go'. They start out with the wrong mind-set. They want a 'product/software/guru/guardian angel' to come and show them what to do. They want everything to magically come to them. As if success in Internet Marketing, because it has to do with computers, can be magically produced or brought about with the right software program or the latest gizmo.

They want everything done for them.

Well, it doesn't work that way. Sure you can buy the latest 'info- product' or the latest 'software program' and some of these will even work for awhile or produce income but you're still not getting off on the right track. You're not setting the right foundation.

First, you have to 'Learn how to Learn'!

Learn how to teach yourself. Learn how you can use the vast resources of the Net to teach yourself all you need to know about Internet Marketing. Acquire the necessary skills to become self-taught.

The journey may take a little longer, but you will learn more along the way and you will develop a greater self-reliance. In the end, it's you who will have to build that web site, provide the content, do the SEO work, do the marketing...so get your Internet Business grounded with the right foundation. Place yourself as the cornerstone of anything you wish to build.

The Internet gladly gives up its secrets. Search them out. Find them. Study them. It's the best training ground ever created. The wealth of information is truly astounding. The collective intelligence of a whole world...

Ok, so the hyperbole meter is rising again, but you get the picture.

Next time you're tempted, don't drool over the latest Guru's 'How To's'...'Kindergarten Dropout Makes a Bundle Working Only 40 Seconds on the Internet Each Day', 'How I Turned Google Into My Own Personal Cash Slave', 'My Secrets Are Worth 20 Million a Month to Me, I Just Can't Wait to Tell You Everything'!

Don't be fooled by the slick copy writing, don't be tempted to reach for that plastic wand.

Take a smarter approach. Use your brain. Use your God Given Intelligence. Don't buy the latest offerings from the next big hot 'marketing guru'.

Instead, do this.

If a marketing expert is making $15,000 a month with Google Adsense, don't automatically go out and buy his/her book of secrets. Use your head, if you have the time, seek out their sites and pick them apart. Study the lay-out, study the design, study the keywords. Learn everything you can, and apply it to your own web site or marketing. The Internet gives up its secrets, nature of the beast!

Next.

Don't cultivate a need for the latest marketing 'tell-all' info-product, but rather cultivate a relationship with the source. Seek out the experts. Find one or two in the areas of Internet Marketing you need help with: SEO, Mini Sites, Affiliate Marketing, List Building, Google Adsense/Adwords, Copy Writing, etc.

Get to know the marketer who's selling the product, join his/her affiliate program, sign up to their opt-in newsletter, ask them questions in the online forums. Be nice, be curious, be helpful to them -- whether it's selling their products, bringing in more affiliates or just being of assistance if asked for. Always remember it's a two way street and must be beneficial to both parties, so give as well as receive.

Build relationships and you will build a foundation of knowledge that you can draw from again and again. Develop these relationships with a diverse group of marketing experts in the areas of interest that's vital to your Internet Marketing and you will be at the right starting point.

Nurture these relationships, grow them, watch them bloom and your own marketing results will harvest the rewards.

All you really have to do is Learn How To Learn. Teach yourself and you will never have to go back to Kindergarten again.

Or buy another marketing info-product!

Best Article Marketing - Uncover 4 Incredible Steps to Make Money with Article Marketing

Article marketing cannot be more popular these days as billions of webmasters from across the globe are using it as their primary marketing arm. They prefer the writing and distribution of articles online over other marketing tools because it is proven to augment their page views and strengthen their online presence. These can lead to improved sales and bigger profits.

Here are the 4 incredible steps to make money with article marketing:

1. Make your articles focused on your central topic. By this, I mean avoiding introducing ideas or concepts that are totally irrelevant to your topic to avoid confusing your readers. You can easily do this by creating an outline even before you start writing. List down all the information that you would like to include in your content and stick to them. This can lead to a well-guided writing and highly focused content.

2. Distribute your articles. Most marketers are taking advantage of article submission sites when they publish their articles online. If you want better exposure, you can also post your articles to other avenues like blogs, forums, social bookmarking sites, and on your website. You can also offer your articles for free to other webmasters in exchange of inbound links for your website.

3. Solicit feedback. The best way to improve your article marketing strategies is to solicit feedback from your readers or other expert article writers. These people can help you identify the areas of opportunities that you can improve on to maximize the benefits that you are getting from this marketing tool.

4. Bank on your resource box. Too many times, people are not clicking on your resource box because they don't have a single reason to do so. To increase your conversation rate, I highly recommend that you make your resource box attractive and compelling. Communicate the information that they can find on your website or offer incentives to your visitors.

Article Marketing - Is Spending Money On Articles Worth It?

Let's say you are in a hypothetical situation. You have $1000 to spend on your Internet business to build it up from scratch. Where do you begin?

A disclaimer before we begin: This is how I would do it. It might not apply to your situation and it might not even work for you. But this is what I would do and it is what I'm doing right now.

Here's my plan: I would spend the $100 to get 300 fresh, original articles written for about $3 each. That will generate traffic for years to come.

I will then purchase an autoresponder membership with either Aweber or Get Response. Those two are the best in the business. This will allow me to build a follow-up system via email marketing.

Let's face it: we write articles for directories to get traffic. And traffic equals a thriving business if you have a good system built in. That system can be an email follow-up system, and it's one of the most profitable systems around.

Having the email address of your potential customer is worth gold. If they subscribe to your list, it gives you the permission to follow-up with them with relevant information and related offers of your own products or for affiliate products.

So that's how I would spend my money. Spending money on articles is definitely worth it, if you submit them consistently, have fresh articles out there all the time, and have a good follow-up system to follow-up with your visitors. This is the proven system I use day in and day out, and it has reaped dividends for me.
