Generating Thousands of Free Visitors to Your Site By Way of Writing Articles

Writing articles is one of the easiest and most effective ways of generating free traffic to your website and getting free advertising. So without further ado, let's get into it and learn all about using articles to generate free traffic...

Now let's get down the root of your article. In this section, this is what we are going to cover

1) Determine the purpose of your article
2) Creating a compelling article heading
3) How to make your article interesting
enough so they click on your resource link
4) How to write your article quickly and make it a viral marketing machine
5) How to spit and polish your article so it looks like you re a professional writer

Let determine the purpose of your article. This might sound stupid, but if you do not know what you want your readers to do when they finish reading your article, how will they know what to do? Before I get too far into writing this, there is one thing you must do before you put pen to paper so to speak.

It does not apply to article writing on the Internet. The purpose of writing articles is to get a response and that sometimes means using unconventional methods of writing. If you cannot handle that your writing my look like it was written in the dark in some sports (maybe a bit harsh) and you are neurotic about it, forget writing on the Internet altogether.

This is meatball writing. We get straight to the point and give the readers all the information in less then 700 words.

Now back to determining the purpose of your article. Here are the usual options that the reader has.

1) Visit your website link in the resource box his is probably the most common response people seem to go to, even if it is the wrong one. People are so fixated with wanting their readers to go to their websites and buy straight away. Tell me something, how many strangers on the Internet have you brought something from because they just told you a great story? None right? You have to preheat the oven before you can ask for their credit card details.

Sending your readers to your website will usually result in a lower sales percentage straight off the bat. That is of course if you are selling them anything at all.If you were selling them something, the best bet would be to send them straight to your newsletter sign up link in your resource box, or even better yet, a free 5 day course via email, which I will talk about in a minute.

But if you are sure you want to send them to your website, the best way to do that is to tell your readers (in your article) that if you go to your website (in your resource box), there is a free gift (of value) they can get, just by visiting your site.

Make sure if you do this, it is not a blatant plug for a product and the gift is of real value, or very few publishers will publish your article, and fewer readers will respond to you in the future. No one likes being sold straight off the bat, and by giving them a free gift, or getting them to give you their email address some way is the best way to go.

2) Visit an affiliate link This one is quite tricky. For starters, some publisher did not allow you to put affiliate program links in your article at all, and if you do, they have to be completely in context and it must be one brilliant article, but that is not a problem. You can of course put an affiliate link in your resource box, which would be allowed straight away. However, if you want your affiliate links in your article here are a few tips.

1. Make sure they add value to your article and are not just blatant plugs.
2. Make sure your article is informative and to the point
3. Give plenty of free information away at your website and or offer a free course
4. Write a brilliant article!

3) Subscribe to your mailing list This is one of the better options? Why, because when they sign up for your mailing list, they are giving you permission to contact them via email on a regular basis. It would be very hard in your article to announce your mailing list in context of the article, as it would come off as a blatant plug, so the best bet would be to include your subscribe email address in your resource box.Do not make them go to a website and subscribe, this will cut your lead percentage nearly in half. All your readers should have to do is send a blank email to your auto responder or mailing list email address and subscribe from there.

4) Subscribe to your free course

This is my favorite way to really maximize your articles. Why?

1. They give you their email address just like they are joining your newsletter
2. They are in the buying mood straight away
3. You get to give them a sales message at the end of your free 5-day course and it won't look like a blatant plug
4. You can offer them more free courses for years to come
5. Just do it!

With a free 5-day course, you are really getting to know your readers better and you are giving them the chance to read more information from you straight away. A free course is just really 5 or so articles put together with an auto responder and sent out over a period of days.

Just like with the mailing list, put your free course link (not a website address) in your resource box.

5) Refer your article to others

If you want your readers to refer your articles to other people, here is what you do.(This is a good idea if you have affiliate links in your article) You send them to a website, with a refer a friend script. This website also has your previous articles on there as well in an easy to use site. You do not need fancy graphics or flash animation, just make it easy to navigate. As I was saying, send them to a page with a refer a friend script on it, and once they do that, give them a free bonus, like the chance to sign up for a free 5 day course you are offering!

You see how many possibilities there are. By giving them something in return with value, like a free 5-day course, you get them to refer your article/website to their friends.

6) Contact you personally

If you want people to contact you personally, do not make them dig through a website to find your contact details. At the very least, put your email address in your resource box, if not your business phone number.

7) Do nothing

Do not be disheartened if a lot of people do not visit your website or take an action from your article, they could just be freebie seekers looking for free information and are not willing to take an action no matter how good your information is or would be.

The secret to article writing is volume. The more articles you have out there being passed around, the more traffic you will end up getting.

8) Flame you

There are some idiots, and yes they are idiots, who would rather send nasty emails to you instead of giving constructive criticism. If you are one of these people, find a better hobby, because it can really hurt a person's feelings. When I was first starting out, and I got some flames, they really hit me hard, but then I realized I was the one making money on the Internet and they were probably spending all day abusing people over the Internet.

Jeff Paul's 3 Clicks To Cash - Real Deal or Scam?

Jeff Paul's infomercial for his new 3 Clicks to Cash product is captivating late night audiences everywhere. Two busty ladies flirt with the camera as they tell you about Jeff's latest. There is supposedly a shortcut to making millions of dollars on the internet.

Who wouldn't want that?

But, don't be easily taken for that ride. As you may be wondering, there is definitely something that's not being told. Amongst the host of promises of shortcuts to making millions, eye opening testimonials of instant riches and a course to show you how to achieve it all.

So whats this big secret they're holding back?

The truth - there is NO shortcuts to making millions of dollars on the internet. While Jeff Paul seems to give you all the products to make it easier, as an internet marketing insider myself, I know that it isn't as easy as 3 clicks. Internet marketing takes work just like any other money generating business.

Its not impossible though to make millions of dollars on the internet. I know a lot of people who are making fortunes every year alone doing affiliate/internet marketing from the comfort of their own home. They will all tell you the same thing...how they failed while trying to get started and they had to work their butts off. No one handed them a shortcut but they were determined to pay their bills or quit their stress filled job, or make money on their own time. They stuck with it and things became easier.

The thing that gets me the most about Jeff Paul's 3 Clicks To Cash infomercial is one testimonial where this guy sets up his 3 clicks to Cash websites and goes on a 7 day cruise. He comes back home and checks his account and in 7 days he had made $430,000!

Ok, I'm going to let the cat of of the bag here. What the audience doesn't know - because Jeff Paul is advertising to people who know nothing much about internet marketing is that Shawn C., the guy in the testimonial, is his friend Shawn Casey.

So what's so special about Shawn Casey?

Shawn Casey is already a millionaire who made his money with internet marketing. He was already making millions before since the early days of internet marketing. Shawn C doesn't need Jeff Paul's 3 Clicks to Cash system and if he tries to make you believe that actually happened then you're being tricked.

Further investigation of the 3 Clicks to Cash system using the internet showed a lot of posts on Rip Off Report and Infomercial Scams.com where users who had bought the program talk about a bad customer experience after making their purchase.

The internet holds the potential to make anyone to make millions from home...but it takes time and effort. Find out what other people are saying about Jeff Paul's 3 Clicks To Cash by going to http://hubpages.com/hub/Jeff-Pauls-Shortcuts-To-Internet-Millions-Scam

Buying Articles for the Web

Offering free content on yours or others business Web site is a crucial part of Internet marketing. In fact, thats how Internet marketing got started, which is why everyone wants and expects something for nothing on the World Wide Web. Theyve always been getting it.

The public has come to expect Internet information to be free, and those most-often searched keywords are what will take consumers to your Web site. Once youve determined the most visited keywords in your industry, youll want to write or find articles that incorporate them.

If youre not a good writer, or you dont have the time it takes to write articles, you can use the articles of others. You can offer local writers or industry experts to contribute articles in return for their bio which gives their own site and business credibility, branding and traffic. Or you can buy articles from people you dont know. One way of doing this is through an article membership site. Here youll find articles on just about any subject, with new ones added all the time.

There are many sites that offer articles and memberships to help your Internet marketing. The catch, however, is that each invariably limits its membership ranks so that the Internet marketing articles dont get published too often. You may have to do some searching, or some waiting, to get a membership in the Internet marketing article membership site of your choice.

Once you are a member and you find the articles you want to publish your Internet marketing work is not done, however, You have to do some rewriting, making it not only fresh and unique to your site, but also giving it a little tweak so it talks directly about your industry, and, if possible, about your products or services.

You may find an article or articles that particular fit your Web site and your business but the keywords you need arent found that densely in the article. So youll need to do that. Thats fairly easy to do, and far easier than sitting down and writing your own article.

Never take an article from an article membership site and publish it verbatim. This is destructive to your Internet marketing concept. You want to make it yours your voice, your personality and your products. You might even find a lengthy article that you could use as a tease, publishing the first part and then offering the conclusion next week. You might also publish a newsletter a great Internet marketing tool. You start the article in the newsletter and refer readers to your site for the conclusion.

Whatever you do, make it yours. Your Internet marketing will succeed as a result.

Article Marketing In 10 Minutes

If you want to become a great article marketer, you have to realize, your articles are not supposed to be great! Your articles have to be good! Not great! We aren't writing a work of art here people. We're just writing simple articles.

Don't try to create the perfect article. Chances are, that when you do, you will create a bad article. Your article will either be too long or too boring. Of course you don't want this! You want your articles to be entertaining and short at the same time. The shorter the better! Don't sit down writing a brainstorm, and then a rough draft! This is a horrible article marketing tactic!

As an article marketer, time is everything. By the time your done writing a brainstorm and your rough draft, and you finally type in your final draft, you can already have 10 or more articles waiting to be submitted, rather than having just 1 waiting to be submitted!

10 good articles, are way better than just 1 great article! As an article marketer, you need to know, that in order to get your market to notice you, you have to create the most amount of articles the fastest in order to win. If you don't, your just going to be left in the dust! Your article marketing strategy should be to write as many articles you can in the time that you have available. Don't try to write perfect articles, just write good articles! Good enough articles where your reader can get information out of it.

Just make it good, not great. Only when you shoot for trying to create a good article, will you actually create a great article.

Advanced Article Marketing Secrets - The Dilemma Between Long And Short Articles

I am sure that if you have been using article marketing for some time you would have come across long articles and also short articles. You may be considering which of the two to use.

This is my primary method of traffic generation and I have experimented with both methods. What I have traditionally found is that long articles take up so much space that the reader actually does not see my resource box. In the end he does not end up clicking through to my website and subscribing to my newsletter. So in the end it is very ineffective to build a list.

You may be wondering what to do if you were to have a long 1000 word article. I suggest that in this case you break it up into three parts of approximately 300 words each. Say for example your title is How To Write A Killer Resource Box you would include Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 at the end of the title for each article.

In some cases there may be a use for very long articles. Usually this type will have a lot of expert information condensed. So if you would like to brand your name on the internet you can write one of these and submit them to popular magazines that publish reader's articles for maximum exposure.

However, if you are thinking of building a successful internet business you need to seriously look at building your list and getting loyal customers who buy over and over from you as this is the best way of building a stable business.

I suggest that you focus on 250 to 350 word articles to build your responsive list.

Lucrative Article Marketing - Uncover 5 Intriguing Methods to Jumpstart Your Article Marketing

If you are seriously thinking of using articles marketing to drive traffic to your site, pull up your search engine ranking, establish your expertise in your chosen field, and generate more income, you need to uncover these 5 intriguing methods so you can jumpstart your article marketing:

1. Make sure that you only submit original content. Copying somebody else's work in article marketing is a big no-no. This will not only tarnish your credibility online, but you will also be penalized by major search engines.

2. Target human emotions when writing your article. Instead of focusing your efforts on logical reasoning, touch your readers' emotions by pushing their buttons. How? If you are selling diet pills, focus on how weight gain affects the confidence and social life of your readers.

3. Keep your paragraphs shorter. Ideally, you should explain one idea on every paragraph. As a writer, you must be able to explain that idea in 4-5 sentences. You can easily do that by finding the most appropriate words to get your message across and eliminating fillers and fancy words to make your paragraph direct to the point and brief.

4. Provide your readers with useful information. Make sure that the content of your articles contain information that are highly relevant to your readers. If they are facing problems, be sure to offer solution. When you do this, online users will appreciate your writing and you will build a huge following in no time.

5. Make every word count. When you are using fillers and other unnecessary words on your articles, you are wasting your readers' precious time. To make your readers feel that you value their time, strike out words that do not help you in getting your message across.

Article Marketing Bootcamp: Resource Boxes That Work

At the end of each Article Marketing submission is a bit of author information and marketing copy known as the resource box or bio box. This is the key to turning the potential energy of interest you've created in your article into the kinetic energy of sales, name recognition or website traffic - whatever you're engaging in article marketing to achieve. There are three main components of a resource box:

  • Author name and brief professional information.
  • USP (unique selling proposition), laser marketing statement or some other form of short and snappy sales copy.
  • A call to action with links.

In addition to being finely tuned individually, each component of your resource box needs to be an integral part of the overall finished product, pull it's own weight and move the reader steadily toward taking whatever action you want him or her to take. In total, your resource box should be no more than 2 or 3 sentences long. Less than that and you risk leaving out important information. More than that and it becomes a solid mass of text that will be skimmed over by the reader.

Here are 5 tips to help you create an effective resource box:

1. Know what you want from your readers. What do you want your readers to do once they've read your article? There is no right answer to this question, but there are wrong ones. And the worst possible wrong answer is "I don't know." The whole point of Article Marketing is to generate content that results in a specific action. Have a clear purpose in mind when you write and make sure that purpose is reflected in your bio box copy. And don't forget to update your box as your offers and information change. An out-of-date bio box is better than nothing, but not by much.

2. Know why your readers should care. Your readers are busy. They have jobs, families, hobbies, friends, a 3-month TIVO backlog and the attention gravity well that is the Internet, all vying for their time at once. If you want them to initiate any action on your behalf, whether that is clicking through to your site or downloading a resource, you have to give them a reason to bother.

3. Ask for the action. Don't just put a naked link out there by itself. And don't use boring, "Click here for blah blah blah" link text. Yawn. Instead, create descriptive link text that clearly indicates what's at the other end of the click and that compels the reader to click through. One marketing truism is that pain has a stronger effect than reward on the human psyche. So a pain-point call to action like, "Are you flushing money down the drain by overlooking these 12 commonly missed deductions? Find out in this special free report!" will always outdraw the reward-based version, "Drop by my site and download my free report on 12 commonly-missed tax deductions." (PS - don't put a period/full stop after a link. It can mess up auto formatting of the link on the user end. Just double space and start the next sentence normally.)

4. Be specific. Unless you only write in one exceedingly narrow topic targeting the same, equally narrow market, don't create a one-size-fits-all bio and slap it on every article you write. Have several resource boxes that target specific niches within your Article Marketing strategy. For example, if you specialize in tax advice for small businesses and solopreneurs, then create a bio box for both markets plus one for general interest pieces, and use them according to which market the topic of your article is targeting. Doing this means that you can prescreen readers and direct each prospect to precisely the right web page, resource or product for them.

5. Less is more. Mark Twain once wrote, "I'm sorry this letter is so long, but I didn't have time to make it shorter." It takes time, skill and lots of practice to turn 200 words of rambling information into 3 sentences of tightly coiled laser-marketing copy. Nonetheless, it is a skill you should work hard to perfect. Don't make your reader sift through a ton of chaff to find a cup of wheat. Present them with an already prepared, warm-from-the-oven marketing cookie in a perfect bite-sized portion.

All of the quality writing and insightful content in the world won't do you a bit of good if you don't follow through with a dynamic and compelling resource box that leads to a specific call to action. Without it, your article is just so much dead-end copy. Interesting, sure, and probably quite informative. But not much more than that.

Take the time to craft your resource box with care and intent. Remember to go back and update it regularly with new offers and fresh information (see if your directory will do a "find and replace" to exchange the old resource box for the new one on existing articles). Make your call-to-action clear, compelling and specific. Then finesse and trim and tighten it all up until all you have left is a pure, concentrated shot of Article Marketing rocket fuel, ready to boost your business into the stratosphere.

Article Marketing Keyword Optimization

Article marketing keyword optimization is very important when marketing online. It's the element that will determine if users will be able to find your article among the million others you are competing with online. The article directory you submit your articles to also play a big role in the success of your article marketing campaign.

A lot of marketers put to much emphasis on keyword optimization, to the point where their articles get rejected from the big article directories. These directories have software that they scan articles with to see if the same keyword has been repeated to many times.

Their articles are then flagged by the software and rejected; I personally don't do too much keyword optimization in the bodies of my articles. I write my articles normally, like I am having a regular conversation. I do however make sure that my main keywords are in the first paragraph and in the title of my article. This is all the keyword optimization that I do.

I also check to see the competition for the keyword phrase that I am targeting. You can do this by tying in the phrase in quotes in Google. For example you can type in "Mortgage loans in Texas". The number of pages that come up is your competition.

Remember that when optimizing keywords, your article still sounds like natural writing to someone reading your article. Also be careful not to repeat the same keyword to many times in one paragraph. Follow this advise and you will be on your way to a successful article marketing campaign.

Breakthrough Article Marketing - Uncover 4 Fast Methods to Grow Your Article Marketing

Article marketing isn't just about the quality of the articles, it is also about the number of articles that you can create and submit on a regular basis. This marketing technique can be a huge task but the end results can be extremely rewarding. If you want to advance in this method, you should know how to multiple the number of your articles so you can give your website great exposure and unlimited links. Here are the 4 fast methods to grow your article marketing:

1. Do no spend to much time on research. If you are spending 1-2 hours doing your research for one article, chances are, you are not really an expert on your chosen field. To multiply the number of your articles, write those topics that you are very familiar with and doesn't need extensive research.

2. Create an outline. Instead of starting your article with a blank paper, spend a couple of minutes and list the major points that you would like to discuss. This can help you direct your article to the right direction and most importantly, it will help you not to forget your ideas while writing your articles.

3. Write how-tos or 10 best ways... kinds of articles. These are the easiest kinds of articles to write. All you need to do is draft an outline listing all the tips, steps, etc. and you will be able to finish one article in as little as 15 minutes.

4. Be dedicated. If you want to succeed in this method, your must breath, eat, and embrace article writing and make it part of your system. The best way to motivate yourself to do more is to love the task and consider it as an hobby rather than a job.

Article Marketing-Importance of Specific Web Page Linking

Article marketing is one of the easiest ways to create targeted traffic to your web site, and of course one of the ways to do this is through the process of creating backlinks from your article to your web site.

Once you have written your article (and by the way, make sure that you have thoroughly spell checked your article and made sure that it is not ungrammatical ask a member of your family or a friend to read it over for you), then make sure that there is some way for your reader to access your website for more information.

The easiest way to allow the reader to access your web site directly from your article is to include a backlink (or 2 or 3) to your web site or web pages therein. You can either create a bio; this will generally be permitted by the article directories in the form of the authors resource box; and in the bio include a backlink to your main page. This is a box which is added to your article and in which you can say a bit about yourself and provide a link to any page in your website that you want.

Another thing I like to do, when the article directory permits it, is to include specific web pages in my text anchor backlinks, rather than my index or main page.

This is what is so good about article marketing. You can advertise a specific page within your website. If readers like the article and wants to copy it to their own website, they may do so as long as they include your resource box. What this does is to provide you with a link to your web page back from theirs, without you having to provide a reciprocal link.
