These keyword tools extrapolate their data from a number of sources and and give you search data,,RS rations, and kei you will also be shown how much competition there is in the search engines at a push of a button.

When you analyse this data, you will want to be looking at which keywords represent a searcher looking to buy your product. Forget about broad search terms as people researching a product use these terms. You want to target keywords towards the end of the research cycle, such as digging for keywords based on the product name such as " product name review" " but product name" and " where to buy product name" etc.

If you are selling a product that will help your potential customer cure or help them with something look for those types of keywords. EG lets say your selling an ebook on the "golf swing" target keywords that are being searched about how to cure a slice or a hook or how to drive further etc. These are keywords being used to help the searcher cure their problem. You just have to target the keywords with your product and give them the solution... for a price of course...

Role of Link Popularity in getting Top Google Rankings

How many sites link to your site? In other words, state the link popularity health of your site. Have you ever been asked this question? And, did not know what to say?

Go to Google. Type in link:www.cnn.com in the search box. The number that Google throws up, namely, 115,000 (on the blue-colored bar present on top of the page) at the time of writing this article, is the total number of sites that are currently linking to www.cnn.com, and which have been indexed by Google. In other words, this number can be greater than 115,000, or more than 115,000 sites may have currently linked to www.cnn.com, but it won't show up with the (link: www.cnn.com), because those sites are not in the Google's Database.

Methodology for building link popularity through Reciprocal Link Exchange Programs

1. Create a html page, preferably named as "Resources/Links/Partners" and place a link of this page from Index Page of your site. This page should never be more than 1 click away from the index page of your site, else webmasters won't be interested in participating in the reciprocal link exchange program.

2. Target both "industry-related" and "non-industry-related" websites as your link exchange partners. For example, if you are providing SEO services, then try getting links from "industry-related websites (i.e. websites dealing with SEO, maybe your business rivals). This is important, because if 10 of your rival (here SEO) sites give link to your site, then Google will surely pay importance to your site, because getting links from rival companies are difficult. Your site MUST be of some high caliber, else the other 10 sites won't have linked! Also, try procuring general links as well.

3. Always exchange links with websites which have high PageRank (PR) (at least 4, the more the better!) (both Index Page as well as Resources/Links Page of the Link Partner's site should have PRs of >=4)

4. Have a link code ready for participating in link exchange program. Here is a sample link code for our SEO company.

Search Engine Optimization, Ranking, Placement Services - Offers Search Engine Optimization, Ranking, Placement Services to get top 10 ranks in various Search Engines.

Always prefer a text link (as given above) in comparison to a banner link, where your chance of Google spiders, i.e. Googlebot finding the potential keywords is limited only to the "alt tag" of the banner. Also, Google pays importance to the text of the incoming link/anchor text (i.e. the incoming link text must contain high potential, relevant keywords), so develop a link text with title ("search engine optimization ranking placement services") which will help you in Google Ranking.

5. Refrain from java script link code because Google spiders find it difficult to index.

6. There are various ways of approaching and procuring potential link partners. Firstly, how to get industry related websites to link to yours? Suppose, "search engine optimization", "search engine promotion" and "search engine ranking" are 3 of your core keywords. Go to Google. Type in each of the three keywords, and find the top 10 sites for each keyword. Now, you have 10 * 3 = 30 websites. Visit the links page (if applicable, since some sites refrain from participating in link exchange programs) of each of the 30 sites, and note down all the sites that are linking to these sites. For example, if each of these 30 sites have 10 sites linking to it, you have 10 * 30 = 300 potential websites to exchange links with. (Please note that our experience shows that conversion rate of successful link exchange is 1 in 4-5, i.e. if you approach 4-5 websites, 1 site will ultimately provide you with reciprocal link, so in order to get high incoming links, you must research extensively and find more potential link partners. Also, as mentioned above, always try to exchange links with websites having PR >=4).

7. If you request a link to a top-level page or the homepage of your site, this will have a positive effect on this page. If the PageRank of this page increases, then the page below it will increase (if the internal linking structure is correct), but it will still be one PageRank number below the page above it that was linked to.

8. Manually submit the page to Google where your link partner has placed the link of your site.

For example, if your link partner's website is www.abc.com and he has placed your website in his resources page, namely, www.abc.com/resources.html, then go to http://www.google.com/addurl.html and submit www.abc.com/resources.html. It is very essential for getting good ranks in Google that you submit the page where your site has been placed by your link partners.

Importance of Messageboards, General Forums and Guestbooks

Of late, you will find that some websites belonging to the "most-highly-competitive" industries (e.g. casino gambling industry, domain registration and web hosting industry) that have achieved top ranks through links from messageboards, general public forums and guestbooks. These techniques are sometimes highly profitable for Google Ranking and hence, it is wise to do some research in Google and find some popular messageboards/forums/guestbooks which are already in Google's Index. Here also the target should always be to get messageboards/forums/guestbooks which have a minimum PR of 4. After finding the potential messageboards/forums/guestbooks, submit your site's information, containing a description and URL in those messageboards/forums/guestbooks.

For example, let's say www.messageboard.com is a popular messageboard

After you have submitted your site's information in www.messageboard.com, it will generate a URL, say, www.messageboard.com/msgboard/1.html where your site has been placed. Here also, you need to submit this newly-generated URL (i.e. www.messageboard.com/msgboard/1.html) which contains information and links to your site to Google (http://www.google.com/addurl.html) for achieving good ranks in Google.

Note : Try targeting messageboards of educational (.edu)/governmental (.gov) institutions since they usually have high PRs and receive huge amount of traffic every day.

The Holy Grail of Internet Marketing

Internet marketing is much more than putting your product online and pitching it to people. If you're going to be an internet superstar there are three important steps you must take.

Establishing an internet business goes far beyond creating a product and placing it online for sale or seeking out a product to promote for affiliate revenue and blasting it across the internet and through email. Internet marketing starts with building yourself a reputation as someone sincerely interested in your customers, offering them information and help, and promoting your business or product on your website. That of course requires you have a website so another important part of marketing is to present website content that is useful, accurate, and current with the market.

One of the great things about doing business on the internet is that you can get started fro free or very little cost, depending on the approach you take. And you don;t have to have much to start a marketing campaign that is effective. There are many resources and tools available today that are free. You just need to do your research and make sure that the freebie offers you the functionality you need and with a degree of professionalism.

Here are three absolute essential ingredients for creating a successful internet marketing business.

Communication with your Customers

Being available for your customers and potential customers is perhaps the most important aspect of your online presence. It may seem unfair but the global 24 hours a day and seven days a week reach of the internet makes the window of communication opportunity very small. If you don't respond quickly your customer may go elsewhere. E-mail is a great way to communicate with your customers but the key is to stay on top of your inbox and respond quickly. Establish a schedule to review incoming email and respond to your customers' needs. You may need to set up a 3 times per day schedule. f you don't have the ability or the man power to you need to take another look at your setup and either reorganize your business or hire someone to help you.

Products and Services

Customers need to find value in what you have to offer, whether it be your free report that sells your own product or your direct sales product or service you have to offer. There are two motivating factors when it comes to selling online: cost and convenience. Will your customer find it easier to buy online than finding the same product in a local store? Is it cheaper for your customer to buy this product from you online? Do you offer some sort of additional value that encourages the purchase? Consider your offer and ask yourself if you would buy what you are selling. Look around at the other offers and top them. Competition abounds so you have to stay on top of the game to deliver the best offer with the best value for the best price.

Delivery and Support

Immediate delivery is a selling factor that makes online purchasing attractive to customers who want the product immediately. Having to wait for delivery is not in line with the instantaneous nature of the internet. So your key to a satisfied customer is convenience, instant access, and quick service. It can mean the difference in you getting a sale and in losing a returning customer. Test your system. Make sure it is user-friendly, easy to understand, functioning as promised. Be available for your customer's needs after the sale. If your system quirks and there's a problem with delivery you need to be there to get it delivered.

Online success starts with the building blocks of business design. Put yourself in your customers shoes. Communicate with your customers quickly and in a helpful manner. Offer them what they need at a great price and with a bonus product or some other sort of added value. Provide quick, if not instant, delivery. If you can base your business on these three principles you will have the keys necessary to open the door to online business success.

Best Email Marketing - 7 Best Ways to Create More Money In Article Marketing

Article marketing continues to make wonders in terms of generating traffic for various websites. Most webmasters agree that it is one of the best tools in pulling up search engine ranking and making their site more popular and frequently visited. If you'd like to use article marketing so you can create more money from it, here are the best ways to do it:

1. Write more quality, meaningful articles. The first step to article marketing is writing numerous articles that will show your expertise on your chosen field. Remember, each article will represent your or your company, so they better offer valuable and credible information that will make readers trust you.

2. Prepare a killer resource box. Your resource box must be compelling enough to make your readers click your website's URL. It must contain your name, your website address, and your call for action.

3. Make your articles scannable and easy on the eyes. Don't submit lengthy articles that will surely bore your readers. Instead, submit articles that run 250-500 words that are full with information and juicy details that your readers are looking for. Make your articles scannable by using bullets or numbers when you are presenting steps or tips. You can also use sub topics.

4. Submit your articles to major article submission sites. To date, there are more than 200 hundred article submission sites but only half of them generate good traffic. Don't waste your time submitting your articles to those that cannot help you increase your site's popularity, instead focus your energy to the ones that can promise you huge number of visitors like ezinearticles.com.

5. Make your landing page compelling. Once you have successfully drove online users to your website, make sure that it functions well and offers readers what they are looking for. It may be more information or the products and services that you are offering.

6. Use the traffic to your advantage. Once you have done all of the 5 tips, you'll be sure to get more traffic to your site. Use this to increase your sales and profits. Offer your visitors with the products and services.

7. Make money from the traffic you have created. To convert your traffic to instant cash, you can sell space on your webpage to various advertisers. If they see that you're generating enormous traffic, they won't think twice in posting banner ads to your webpage.

The Number #1 Article Marketing Mistake That You Must Avoid

Okay, I'm writing this for all struggling people who are trying to make a living online. If you're in an article marketing. You absolutely have to do this, one thing and that is: capture your visitor's e-mail!

You have worked hard to write out your article and you got couple of hundred clicks - if that. The visitors visit your website and then they go away most likely forever, without buying your product or service.

So it doesn't make any sense to me, if you go to work hard to write an article Only to make one or two sales. Article marketing may be a free method to generate traffic, but if you think about it you are trading your time in. And time is money.

If you're linking your resource box directly to your sales page don't do that. Instead direct the visitor to your landing page which has an e-mail opt in. They're the visitor had entered his or her e-mail, then you should direct the person to your sales page.

To build a long-term business you have to have a list.

Do you want to keep writing fresh articles day after day only to have it buried under search engine after a couple weeks? Or do you want to write article once capture the highly targeted customer into your e-mail lists and then market to them over and over again.

The second option makes more sense, no? This is the proven method on how to make lots of money, and it works. That is how the Internet gurus make millions every year on the Internet - through their e-mail list.

So if you make this article marketing mistake. Don't worry, you now know the secret to our article marketing success.

Remember that article marketing is not to drive tons of traffic to your website (although it could happen) but rather send trickles of highly targeted visitors to your webpage (and you want to keep them by getting their e-mail address)

Link Popularity or Link Pop

Once you have your website up and running, you may be shocked if, after a few months, you aren't getting any visitors and you're still in the dungeons of the major search engines. If you have good content, lots of SEO and a great product or service, what's keeping you from being seen? It's most likely your lack of links. The importance of links to your site's placement in the most popular search engines can't be underestimated. Links tell the search engines how popular your site is with others who are on the web.

You could, of course, simply submit your site to a paid links site that promises you "thousands of links" for your site and hope that whatever they throw at the wall sticks, but that may not be your best bet. After all, search engines are increasingly savvy to how links work, and if your site has hundreds of links that aren't really relevant to your product or service, your link popularity will probably remain quite low in the rankings. On the other hand, what help is there in having highly relevant links in limited numbers? It is this balancing act between link popularity and link relevance, or pop that is so hard to maintain. Finding the right balance is essential.

Link Popularity: The Case for and Against Numbers. Every site should try to cultivate multiple links to their site. One-way links from other sites to yours indicate that lots of people are interested in what you have to offer, and search engines do recognize this link popularity and reward it in the rankings. Reciprocal links are also a good way to increase your presence in the search rankings. With reciprocal links, you can show up in searches for your own product or service and searches for the products and services of those sites you've linked to.

The down side to this type of linking is that you can also be penalized in the ranks if you have hundreds of links, one-way or reciprocal, to sites that have nothing to do with your own site's purpose. It's why submission to paid linking services can be a bad idea. If you end up linked to sites that are too diverse or questionable in their content, you'll drop quickly in the ranks. A site selling baby clothes linked to hundreds of baby product and care sites will do well. A baby clothes site linked to thousands of sites peddling porn, vitamins, diuretics and auto loans won't.

How to "Pop": Understanding the Importance of Quality. When establishing links, be industry specific. A handful of links from other sites that are focused in some way on your industry, whether it's cleaning products, income tax preparation or natural food supplements will help pop you closer to the top in the search engines. If you make natural herbal teas, look for links to natural health and living, teas and natural cures, all inter-related topics that are relevant to what you offer.

Industry directories are also a great place to submit links that are high quality. Why? Because the larger directories are set up with complex search capabilities. Their category descriptions, Meta tags and keywords all result in highly relevant, top quality links. Because they were designed expressly to make finding particular industry information easier, a lot of time and effort has gone into the links and how they are interconnected.

Links are "graded" by the search engines based on complex algorithms that detect not only how many links there are to your site, but also how relevant those links are (keep the whole diuretics and porn links problem in mind) to your own product or service. A higher relevancy score in the search engines gives you more weight based on the authority of the sites you're linked to. Will ten incoming links from little-known sites equal one link from a site featuring recognized experts in your field? One hundred? One thousand? Or will your small cache of links from big, important sites count you out because everyone else seems to have thousands of links, relevant or not, compared to your hundreds?

The fact is, the algorithms that determine which sites are the best are evolving daily. A balance of link popularity and link "pop" is essential to being recognized by search engines and moving up through the rankings. Once you've achieved that status, however, you have to maintain it. That means constantly "tweaking" the links to and from your site. Fine-tuning both number and relevance in order to maintain your spot. Finding the proper balance and adjusting your Internet presence to optimize both content and links is a never-ending process that, when done properly, can place you on the front page of the best search engines.

Article Marketing - My Philosophy That Drives Me To Massive Article Marketing Success

Here's my philosophy on article marketing: The purpose of an article is to generate traffic. And it's very probable that more than half the visitors to an article don't even read it (though I hope you're not one of them!). Quality of your articles is important, and so is the quantity with which you write them and submit them!

When people click through on your articles, most will just click through to your site link in your resource box, decide to buy or optin or whatever it is, or just click away from your article. A very small percentage will even read your article. Maybe 1 in 10. That's 10 readers for every 100 visitors. And the title of an article is just as important than the content. You should be spending plenty of time crafting out a quality title.

I'd rather produce a good informative article that gets the point across than try to produce an article that will take hours to write. Some people have minds that race, and others can get in 30-50 words a minute. Some people have both. That's a lethal concoction for article marketing. If you can type very quickly and are already well versed in the topic, then you can crank out a 250-300 words article in 10 to 15 minutes without doing any research.

Most people write articles and when you read them, it reads like a textbook. You'd want to be conversational in your articles. Think about the most entertaining books you have read; more likely than not, the tone of the book was conversational. It was as if the author was sitting in a caf with you and having a lively discussion. That's how you want to write your articles!

Great Ways To Obtain Link Popularity

I hate reciprocal linking.

It is such a hassle. Even specialized reciprocal linking sites don't really help all that much. Many of the link requests that I do get are from poker sites that are totally irrelevant to my site's content. Most of the sites that I would like to link to don't respond. Some sites supposedly do respond, but, when I search their sites, I can't find my link anywhere. It is just so totally and completely frustrating.

Link popularity is a major factor in search engine rankings. How does someone like me, who despises reciprocal linking, go about improving my site's link popularity?

Fortunately for me, I have discovered two ways to do exactly that. They are blogging and submitting articles.

I added the Work At Home Ideas Blog(http://www.affiliateutopia.com/blog/) to my website two weeks ago. Search engines love content and blogs are about the easiest way to add fresh content to your site. But, how can a blog improve your site's link popularity? Most blogs feature their own RSS or XML feed. If a visitor to your blog likes your content, then he just might decide to syndicate your content on his website. In the past two weeks, my blog's XML feed has been hit more than 150 times. I expect to get at least some new links out of that.

Writing articles and submitting them to article directories is another great way to get more links pointing back to your site. You can place your own "resource box"(similar to the one at the bottom of this article) at the bottom of your articles. Your resource box wiil contain a link back to your website. The article directory will publish your article and--BAM-you have an instant link back to your website. Submitting articles is a great way to get your site's popularity going like gangbusters.

Here are some outstanding article directories that you should be submitting to: IdeaMarketers -- http://www.ideamarketers.com/ EzineArticles -- http://www.ezinearticles.com/ GoArticles -- http://www.goarticles.com/ ISnare -- http://www.isnare.com/ Internet Home Business Articles-- http://www.internethomebusinessarticles.com/

Here is a little tip for your article submissions. Many article directories allow you to enter HTML code in your articles. This gives you the ability to control the anchor text of your site's link in the resource box of your article. The anchor text of your link serve as keywords for the search engines. Use a keyword research tool, such as Good Keywords(http://www.goodkeywords.com/), to vary your anchor text from week to week. By doing this, you will rapidly build up a number of keywords for your site.

By using your blog's RSS or XML feed and submitting articles, you can increase the link poularity of your website without all of the hassles of reciprocal linking.

Discover How A Tiny Little Article Submission Secret Can Reap Huge Benefits!

Most article marketer's know the value of article marketing, but few really know why or how to get the most out of their article submissions. The reason is because of the many false ideas in the marketplace regarding article marketing. So let me set the record straight on at least one of the biggest false assumptions.

Many article marketers fall prey into believing that one article published in many sites, ezines, and newsletters will benefit them by bringing in lots of traffic. Well, basically this idea is really only partially correct. Yes it does help to get your word out to many places, but there is a big difference between getting the same content out to many places and getting unique content to many places.

As most of us know Google is the king when it comes to search engines. Unfortunately sending the same article to many Websites, ezines, and newsletters will not help you with Google, but actually hurt you in the long run. Why you ask? Because of Google's "Duplicate Content Filter". Google's duplicate content filter will screen out multiple versions of your same article and will leave you with a handful of inbound links to your site. Inbound links to your site is a key factor in search engine ranking. The more inbound links, the more traffic, the better your ranking and opportunity to drive your sales skyward!

There are really only two ways you can fix this "Duplicate Content" problem. One way is you could sit down with a big pot of coffee and enough sandwiches to last you a few days and start writing hundreds of different article so each one is filled with unique content about your same subject! Or, you can use an article submission software that will submit hundreds, and possibly thousands of unique articles for you at the click of your mouse! Did you catch that?! Hundreds and also thousands of unique article for you at the click of your mouse! I don't know about you, but I'd rather save on all the lunch meat and that coffee happens to keep me up all night.

The strategy behind submitting unique articles with different content is in the software. Through three different versions of your article it will randomly select paragraphs from those three articles and create a unique article each and every time it submits an article. Can you feel the power?! You can arrive at literally hundreds or thousands of unique article versions depending on the amount of paragraphs your three versions contain. It stops "Duplicate Content" dead in it's tracks, overcoming your URL aftermath!

It has been proven through testing that roughly 300 inbound links to a website shrink to around 16 inbound links after several weeks of submitting the same article to many different sources. By using this awesome article marketing tool you can increase your effectiveness with article submissions by 1875% or 18.75 times more. 300 inbound links will stay at 300 inbound links, not dropping down to 16 inbound links. Google will see your articles as unique and will show them all in your search results. The more results drive more traffic to your site. More traffic to your site drives more sales, and more sales will drive your profits skyward!

This is the most powerful article submission strategy available to increase your overall effectiveness of all you article marketing campaigns. Now that's a benefit all article marketer's should take notice of.

Badly Written Articles Are No Good For Your Business

How many times have you crawled the internet, looking for information, only to find a badly written article that annoys you more than it helps you? With the increasing use of article marketing as a strategy for promoting websites and increasing visitor traffic, there has been an explosion in the number of article-based websites and the number of articles available.

In many cases, however, this rise in the quantity of available content is at the expense of quality. There are a great many articles out there that do not provide the kind of positive promotion that most webmasters are looking for. In many cases, this can be entirely due to the poor quality of the writing.

If you are writing an article to promote your business or website, you need to ensure it shows you in a positive and professional light. Badly constructed sentences and incorrect spelling are annoying to readers. They detract from the image that you wish to portray and the overall informative content of the page. Readers will know if they were written in a hurry. Mistakes in your articles tell your potential customers that you didn't check them and so that might be the service they can expect from you.

Whether this is true or not, in your case is unimportant. The impression you give when you publish a badly written article will colour the reader's view of you and your organisation. There are some simple things you can do to avoid this.

Always proofread your article.

Never write your article and immediately submit it. Leave at least 30 minutes between finishing the draft and proofreading it. This helps ensure your mind has had a chance to focus on something else and that you've mentally 'dumped' the article before you re-read it. You will have a better chance of finding errors and areas for improvement if you take a break first.

Check your spelling.

With modern, automatic spell-checking software being readily available, there really is no excuse for allowing incorrect spelling to remain in your article. Keep a dictionary with you when you work and consult it whenever you are unsure.

Take advice on language and punctuation.

Look at some well-known published writers for ideas around how they construct their sentences and the types of words that they use. There are lots of sites on the internet that have excellent free advice on what to look for and how to improve it. Your readers will appreciate well constructed articles and sentences. there are few things as annoying to many readers as misused punctuation.

Check your facts.

People aren't that interested in your opinion. It isn't worth any more than their own. Make sure you can back up any claims or conclusions that you make with facts. If you have the facts, and are willing to reference sources, your article will be seen to be more authoritative.

All of the areas I have mentioned are important and when addressed together will ensure that your article is the best it can be. Only then will the article be a positive reflection on you, your business or your website.
